子どもの権利の批判理論：チャイルディズムと交差性
子どもの権利の実現を阻むものを批判的に探究する人権理論は、子どもがジェンダーや人種に基づく暴力と差別をどのように受けているかだけでなく、能力主義的な規範性や年齢に基づく暴力と差別をどのように受けているかを分析することで、分析の鋭さを増すことができます。
チャイルディズム（子どもに対する年齢に基づく偏見と差別）とアダルティズム（子どもに対する大人の抑圧的な権力）は、子どもへの差別的な暴力を可視化し問い直すとともに、交差的な不正義に対して子どもにとって公正な応答を築くための、子どもの権利の批判理論における重要な視点です。

子どもは世界人口の3分の1以上を占め、多様な集団としての「子ども」には、ほかのあらゆる周縁化された集団が含まれます。それにもかかわらず、社会正義の限界をめぐる理論は、年齢に基づく権力構造による子どもの二重の周縁化をほとんど認識していません。
